Scott Setlock is a Vice President and the Commercial Credit Manager at Mercantile Bank of Michigan. In this capacity, Scott is responsible for overseeing the underwriting processes and quality relating to the bank’s $1 billion commercial loan portfolio. Scott received undergraduate degrees in Finance and Economics from Grand Valley State University in 2004 and later received his Master in Business Administration in 2010. Scott is an active Grand Valley State University contributor, maintaining roles with the Seidman Alumni Association Board and the Finance Department Advisory Board, while teaching an undergraduate Bank Management class as an adjunct professor. Active in a number of charitable causes, Scott focuses much of his efforts on the education of grade school children, participating in programming such as Junior Achievement, United Way Schools of Hope, Boys and Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids, and Teach a Child to Save. Scott lives in Rockford with his wife Christina and their two young boys, Emmett and Oliver.
