Melissa is the Tax Supervisor at Baker Holtz. She provides tax consulting and planning services  to closely-held businesses, their owners and high net worth individuals.

Melissa completed her BBA in Accounting and Finance at Grand Valley State University in 2004 and received her Master of Science in Accounting the following year .

Melissa’s professional memberships include the American Institute of CPAs, Michigan Association of CPAs and InForum. She is the past president of the Grand Rapids Chapter of Accounting Financial Women’s  Alliance. She received the 2013  MACPA Women to Watch Award – Emerging Leader.
